How long does it take for my Bean Bag Chair to arrive?

Standard Bean Bag Chairs: After you place an order, the Standard Bean Bags are typically shipped out the next business day. We ship them via (FedEx Ground). On average, delivery time is (3-5 business days). See
our shipping page for more detailed shipping information. When your
order ships out, a FedEx tracking # will be sent to your e-mail
address. Please note that during the busy Christmas holiday season,
shipping times can take longer.
Foam Filled FUF Bean Bag Chairs: After you place an order, your FUF Bean Bags are typically manufactured within a few days. We ship them via (UPS Ground). On average, delivery time is (up to 10 business days).
When your order ships out, a UPS tracking # will be sent to your e-mail
address. Please note that during the busy Christmas holiday season,
shipping times can take longer.

Is overnight or express shipping available for your products?

shipping service can be very expensive due to the size of the Bean Bag
Chair (often several times higher than the cost of the Bean Bag Chair).
Due to the high cost of shipping, we do not offer express shipping at
this time. |
Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada?

Do you ship overseas?-

many times more than cost of the product, we do not ship overseas at

Do you ship PO boxes, APO/FPO military addresses?-

Due to the size of our products, we are unable to ship to PO boxes.
We've tried to send to APO/FPO in the past, but we've had to discontinue
due to delivery issues. |
Can I get a discount for a large order?

| Yes. If you need to order 10 or more Bean Bag Chairs for promotions, seminars, parties, churches, or large events, please contact us for special pricing. We offer substantially discounted prices for large orders or corporate events. |

We no longer have a dealer program.
What do I do if my package is damaged?

| If a Bean Bag Chair package has been delivered with noticeable exterior damage please inspect the item before accepting. If the package has been accepted or was left at the delivery location we must be notified of the damage within 10 business days of delivery. This allows us to assist in filing a claim with the freight company for the damaged product. After the 10 day period, The Bean Chair .com will not be held responsible for damages. If a package has been lost or stolen we will file a claim with the carrier and a new Bean Bag Chair will be shipped out immediately. |
How do I cancel my order?

Due to our fast handling and shipping time, any cancellations must be received within 24 hours via e-mail or by using our Contact Us page. For any order canceled after the item leaves our warehouse, the customer must obtain a RAN# from our office and return the item to us at his own expense. His Credit Card will then be refunded in full. Any order refused at time of delivery will be refunded less our cost to ship the items to you. Even though we offer free shipping there is a shipping charge, usually $40 - $50 per carton for our Standard Bean Bag, and up to $80 for the larger FUF Bean Bags. This is the industry standard for cartons of this size.

- How large are the styrofoam beans in the Standard Bean Bags?
The beans in our Standard Bean Bag Chairs are different sizes. The average bean is around pea-sized.
- Are the beans in your products virgin beans?

| All of our Bean Bag Chairs use virgin polystyrene beads as filler. Virgin beans are polystyrene beans that are newly manufactured, not recycled. The advantages of virgin beans is that they lasts up to four times longer than polystyrene regrind and the shape is uniform. |
What is the size of the virgin polystyrene beans.

Although the shape of the beans remains consistent, there can be a slight variance in size of each individual bean. On average the size is approximately the size of a pea or slightly larger. See the photo to the left. Also, the bean shapes are not perfectly spherical. The shape is a slightly rounded cylindrical shape. The sturdy shapes help the bean bag chair maintain it's shape after heavy use. |
How are the beans created?
| Small PVC pellets that look like grains of rice are put in a special machine that injects high-temperature steam. The steam causes the small pellets to expand to about the size of peas. After the beans have cooled, they are ready to be used as bean bag chair filler. The finished beans are stored in overhead canopies and are gravity-fed into the bean bag chairs during the manufacturing process. |
How do I remove the childproof safety lock?
| All of the Bean Bags on our website contain a safety lock/zipper. The purpose of this is to prevent small children from opening the Bean Bag Chair. Follow the instructions below to open the Bean Bag Chair for the purpose of adding or removing polystyrene filler beans. |
1) Take a small paper-clip and slightly bend the prong outward. (see diagram below)
2) Thread the paper clip through the hole on the zipper latch.
3) Pull the zipper open to reveal the second zipper.
4) Unzip the second zipper like an ordinary zipper.
